My Journey

My passion for nutrition began long before I earned my degree in nutrition and dietetics. I’ve always been fascinated by the power of food and how it impacts our bodies and minds. Over the years, I’ve dedicated myself to learning and growing in this field and becoming a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) to help people manage their diabetes care more effectively.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse groups of people, each with their own unique stories and challenges. From new moms with gestational diabetes to people with chronic kidney disease to women looking to regain their health, my focus has always been on providing compassionate, evidence-based guidance tailored to individual needs.

Why I Do What I Do

I believe that everyone deserves to feel their best, and that starts with making informed, sustainable choices about what we eat. But let’s be honest – life is too short to not enjoy our favorite foods. For me, that means enjoying delicious tacos or soft chocolate chip cookies. I’m a firm believer that all foods fit, and you can have a balanced, healthy lifestyle without giving up the things you love.
